Keeping your subtle body in good health cancan really improve your quality of life. If life seems to grey or too black and white, then perhaps focusing on your subtle body will help you live a more interesting and maybe even more fulfilling life. Just by meditatively focusing on different parts of your subtle body, you begin to lkearn about yourself in an entirely new way. Wonders never cease once you begin the journey of self exploration. There's a large partof realtiy that remains unexplored by many people. Anyone who wants to enrich their lives and have the desire to assert control over themselves completely should study their subtle body. Once you gain the knowledge that comes with self exploration you are empowered. Once you are empowered, you start awhole new type of living. Living in empowerment is one of the most satisfying feelings I have ever known. To understand why I react to everything in my universe the way I do is complete and total freedom. Understanding myself allows me the knowledge I need to change myself for the better. The only thing that can cause me to fail is lack of desire for self-improvement. This empowerment allows me to discern between the influences I want in my lifeas well as to make sure that my thouhts reflect the reality I wish to create. Everything starts as a thought from there the world turns and fires burn an social climates change. So in effect you create your reality with your thoughts first and with your actions second. Of course actions truly have more effect on your environment than thoughts do. But thoughts create motive,and motive leads to action. This knowledge can, but doesn't always, make the difference between someone who is wandering aimlesslythrough life making some good choices some bad, and someone who moves through life with plans and a purpose. It is true that thousands have found purpose without study in the areas of human existrence I have mentioned. They have paved the way for this new art and science. For Study of the subtle body and things subtle in genereal, is in fact both a science and an art. It is the fusion of spirituality and reality. Forming a field of study called Metaphsyics. Which means simply, beyond the physical, but don't let my definition fool you for without the physical one could not go beyond it. So Metpahysics includes that which is tangible and that which is intangible.
The subtle body is the most sensitive partof a person. It reacts instantly to thoughts, words, and actions. It senses energies coming into a persons life and sub-consciouslyprepares for alchemical interaction with those energies. Sometimes the subtle body prepares the conscious mind with memorable dreams, at other times it uses the reaction between energies (something I like to call alchemy) to generate a feeling or feelings inside a person. The subtle body is the first to feel touch. It feels the intent to touch even if we are never touched by that person. The introduction of positive growth oriented energies into the presence of the subtle body usually causes an (here's my favorite word) alchemical reaction that results in a person feeling more positive. When a person is experiencing positive growth in their lives it improves the health of all the subtle bodies systems as well as (is being proven through current research) improving the physical bodies health. The more hamronious things are inside a human being the more positive they will be. It seems to me that it should be second nature to humans to
1) Be aware of their subtle existence in concert with their concrete being.
And
2)Be avid maintainers of their subtle health in addition to their physical health. After all it is all part of the same being why should one seem more important than the other. It is true the physical is something that all humans right now can almost instantly connect with. Whereas it takes some time and patience to begin maintaining an awareness of the subtle part of our existence. Once you become aware (fully aware) of existence as a human being seeing both the subtle and the concrete working in harmony life takes on a joyous pose. Listening to people talk sounds like music even though it's just a normal flow of conversation. The rhythm and cadence of speech in any language sounds as a song. A smile becomes brighter colors flowing off of the person in beautiful hues matching their happy mood. The world is truly a much more beautiful place when you integrate into your life the perceptions of the subtle and the experience of the concrete. I believe the subtle part of all human beings is attached at the smallest level of physical existence that will ever be found and then just like the source of creation emanates outwardly surrounding and filling the physical being, in different levels of energy. Science has not yet found the smallest part of the physical world. The subtle body of all objects and beings emanates outwardly from the place of attachement, which for lack a of a better term I call the seam of existence. It is here that physical and subtleare melded. This part of a persons being is probably the most delicate. That's a guess but it seems to me that when science finds the two, subtle and physical, intermingled and measured on both devices of a physical nature and devices that detect the subtle (on their way to invention I assure you) the most amazing and significant discovery in this age of humanity will occur. Once the seam is truly found and agreed upon by most of the world we will sit back and say to ourselves. What grand creatures are we. Then there will be those who attempt to dismantle the melding of the seam. They may find that inanimate objects behave in entirely new ways. But if one dares to dismantle the seam of a person they may find that, by accident, they have set off a chain reaction in the being they were experimenting on. The consciousness that did reside within that person will be unraveled and their consciousness will go on to remain totally in subtle form. This will be proven when the person or being (it could be a mouse) attempts to communcate. The person or jmouse will be considered dead but their essence will be monitored. On the way to this breakthrough discovery of the seam existence after death will be proven by sensitive monitoring equipment that has yet to be invented. Perhaps, we will be able to, with the computer as a tool communicate with people who have purposely shunned their physical existence, and have chosen to unravel their seams in exchange for the experience of being free of the human vehicle. This is, of course, all conjecture on my part. However, it is what I believe could happen. As it stands right now science is still searching for ever smaller parts of the physical existence, and a large amount of people only halfway acknowledge the subtle things that we all experience everyday, let alone go explroing that aspect of reality. There are lots of things to do in this physical world, but if you take some time to get to know your subtle self you may find that you enjoy the physical a lot more than you used to.

Thoughts on Existence

It seems to me that the source of all creation is a superior consciousness, from which emanates all the different levels of existence. the different levels of existence are all different levels of vibration.I believe that the closer a person gets to the source of the emanations the more pure or the more like the superior consciousness the beings are that exist there.the reason I say more pure is is that the things on those levels are closer to the form of the superior consciousness/creator those things are. The closer to the creator you are the more pure or more like the creator you have to be.
Knowing this it seems we are very far from the source of creation. Here is why I think that. The source of creation is a Superior Consciousness, something we humans view as abstract (ie...consciousness is an abstract idea) yet here we exist in a very physical form.
Now, I believe that there is more to reality than that which physically exists. This has to be true simply because I believe in a Superior Consciousness. I belive we come from an abstract source and that there are many levels/types of existence that seperate us from the source. Therefore there absolutely has to be parts of reality that are imperceptible to humans (Talking about the average non-psychic human) based soley on the fact that we exist as a physical manifestation of something that starts out as and continues to exist as an abstract idea. The closest I can come to describing the Creator is to say that it is a superior consciousness, which is a totally abstract idea.
I believe that Buddhist meditation. is used to basically connect the part of ourselves that is like the creator (our consciousness)
through different kinds of mind conditioning we can achieve through the existence of our consciousness. the buddhist masters knew that in order for a persons consciousness to be able to transcend the physical world that surrounds it, they had to use "tricks" to cause the human mind to change its vibration so that it would become closer to the vibratory rate/purity/abstractness of the Source. (By the way this is why I spell Sourcerer the way I do) The more ones mind became like the Source, the closer one came to reaching total oneness with the source.
Now, it is said that when a persons cosnciousness reaches that levelof purity/likeness to the Source, that the person becomes enlightened. However, due to the nature of human existence and the fact that our consciousness is bonded to a physical vehicle, it is very difficult to attain such a level of likeness to the Superior Consciousness. Not only that, it's damn near impossible to maintain that level of mind purity for any length of time. Even with botanical aids. My time in the stae known in Buddhism as Samadhi was extremely brief. Not only that my body and mind became confused. But only as I was pushed back down through the levels of purity at an extreme speed.
I became confused as my mind has to re-adjust very quickly to having the quality of it catapulted into extreme purity and then yanked down in a matter of seconds, to an almost normal level (normal for this physical state of existence)Knowing that I have come close to the level of purity that exists at the Source of creation (This is my opinion) lets me know that
1: Attaining that level of purity of mind should be gradual (over many lifetimes)
AND
2:Returning to the level of purity normal for me in this physical existence should also be gradual. (At least more gradual than the experience I had)
There are also other beings that exist in a more abstract state than we in the world of the physical do., and have a consciousness similar to ours. Similar in that their consciousness is abstract in nature. These beings leadan existence that is much different than ours. For one they do not experience time like we do. I'm not surewhat their experience of reality is like. It's too abstract in nature for the exactness of words to define. Perhaps in an Asian language there would be a word or ideograph for this idea.
Also, there are parts of the human beingthat exist abstractly or as I like to say, subtley. These things are the Aura and the energy of thoughts as they are produced by our consciousness, as well as the Chakras and meridians that make up our subtle body. Emotions too are subtle energy sent out towards others as well as being stored within us.

Well everyone I've decided it's time to change my name here on live journal. I've come to feel that Sourcerer is a bit presumptuous considering the level of metaphysical ability that implies. I'm just not there yet. However my new name reflects where I feel I am on my path of knowledge it is:

Pretty soon I'll be deleting this journal and all the bad memories it contains. I'll also be deleting some fun times too. However, I think wiping the slate clean on here every once in a awhile is good. Just to be able to have fresh start. That's my opinion anyways. Well that's the news for now.
